The New Zealand Certificate in Christian Ministry (Level 4) focuses on discipleship and preparation for ministry. This programme is designed for students who want to develop a greater understanding of their faith for their everyday life as a Christian or those who feel that God is calling them into church leadership or pastoral ministry.

The Level 5 Diploma in Christian Studies gives you teaching in leadership, biblical interpretation and communication, theology, and in the contemporary social context (the ministry environment). Supervised and mentored practical ministry experience in your own church allows you to put what you learn into practice. We expect that a student who has gained the level 5 Diploma in Christian Studies will be able to lead a ministry area within a church, and be positioned to keep developing towards leadership of a church or ministry.
We have had many students successfully complete the Diploma in Christian Studies who have picked up studies after a break from school or other formal study. The keys to success are a positive attitude and a commitment to complete the course.
