Two professors from Japan visited Vision College Limited from the 19th of August to 21st August 2024. Prof Hazuki Nakata from Konan Women’s University and Prof Yukiko Ito from Osaka Seikei University had a wonderful three days in Hamilton and interacted with the management team and staff of Vision College. They were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and and the educational environment at Vision College.
The professors had a well-rounded visit, engaging with various aspects of education and culture in New Zealand. Visiting an Elementary School, a Childcare Centre, and a Kindergarten had given them insight into different stages of early childhood education. The visit to a Marae, a traditional Māori meeting ground, likely provided a cultural perspective and a deeper understanding of the Māori community's traditions and practices.
Fifteen students from Konan Women’s University will be visiting Vision College early next year for a Study Tour and Cultural Immersion programme.
