Our FREE 20-week New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration & Technology) or 'BizTech' is designed for youth aged from 16-19, and provides students with a foundation in both business and computing.
Students are given the opportunity to grain credits towards NCEA Levels 2 and 3 over the 20 weeks. Taught in the classroom four days per week, this course will give youth an entry into business or IT based careers.
Comprehensive use of computers is essential for almost all jobs now. BizTech will give you an extensive grasp of business administration including communication theory, customer service, creating business documents, and advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
We try to stimulate a business environment (while having fun) to get you ready for work in a real office. Learn how to follow task lists with self-directed learning, communicate effectively with others and gain confidence with the Microsoft Office suite.
Upon course completion, graduates can move into jobs in administration, banking, retail, and business roles. Graduates can also pathway onto further study in Business or IT at a University level.
NCEA Level 1 is prefered but not necessarily needed for entry into this course.
