NZ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 5)

The first year of your Teaching Degree! (UE not required)

Looking for a rewarding career as an Early Childhood teacher? We offer the very best way to get there! Study your first year full time on campus with our amazing caring tutors. We have small class sizes to ensure good levels of personal tuition and care. If you did not enjoy school, this is totally different and you do not require UE to enter this programme.

Classes are fun and interactive, with over 200 hours of placement in an Early Childhood centre as part of your year.

Following your year with us, you can then secure a role at an Early Childhood centre, from where you will study the rest of the degree through Open Polytechnic with supported learning from the Vision College team.

The best part of this path to your degree is that you learn while you earn. After the first year, you can be earning in a paid job, which means little to no student debt. You will also be able to write your assignments based on real application in an early childhood centre.
